Getting Here

We highly suggest coming by public transport if possible.
If you have mobility issues, are planning on buying a lot, or have a large costume, driving might be easier.

By Public Transport

The Melbourne Showgrounds are easily accessible by public transport.

The closest train station is New Market Station, which is a medium walk to the venue.

We do however suggest catching the 57 Tram if you can, as it stops very close to the main gate.

By Car

Parking near the Showgrounds (but not at)

If you are driving, there are several parking options available near the Melbourne Showgrounds.

We recommend using public transport if possible, as parking can be limited on event days.

If you prefer to park in the area, please keep in mind that most area street parking is a permit zone

Parking at the Showgrounds

Parking on-site costs $25*.

*Subject to change by the Showgrounds.

Simply follow the signage on arrival and pay with the attendant.

Depending on what other events are on, you may end up in a parking area that requires a short walk.

If you have mobility difficulties, please contact us and we can organise a parking space closer (if available), or direct you to a drop-off area.

Parking zones

You can see the parking zones on the Melbourne Showgrounds Interactive Map.

Event parking will likely be in areas G7 & G9, with reserved parking by the pavilion.
